James Wang
James Wang is a practicing physician who has been a photographer for over 50 years. In the past several years he has revived his interests in nature and photography, inspired by his wife’s work in conservation and birding.
His love of nature and photography allows him to record the beauty and wonder of the world around us. In his images, he captures the full range of boldness and subtleties of of the wild. With an easy connection with nature, adept eye for form and lighting, and the calm and patience of a doctor, Jim captures not only subject, but soul.
He has exhibited photographs in Massachusetts Audubon Centers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Headquarters (Hadley, MA), the Massachusetts Medical Society, and The Rhode Island School of Design. He received an Honorable Mention in the MA Audubon 2023 Photography Contest.
